This blog is a collage of colorful, humorous and lifestyle type postings that encompass everything from our past events, inspirations, aspirations, fashion, food, health to interesting tid bits. It is an extension of “anopenmindpolly” | CEO & Managing Director of Anopenmind Lifestyle & Anopenmind Group of Companies.
We started an event / promotional business about 10 years ago. It started with throwing parties and events here and there for the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans) community. Over the years I basically operated by knee jerk reaction and just hosted events when we felt like it. We realized that other communities started to embrace what we did and attend our events. It spiraled outside of the LGBT community and encompassed people in general that liked our productions overall regardless of their sexuality. Our events became inclusive of everyone. Straight, curious, bi, etc…It was no longer about sexuality it was about people with “an open mind”. Our dream when we started was to have events where everyone could be themselves and the focus was mainly on enjoying the venue, the production and the music in a safe space. We’ve accomplished that.
With the onset and viral growth of social media our business of course took a turn into that area. With more and more of our customers on the different platforms we decided to connect with them not only at our events. We wanted to touch on different areas of their lives as well as share our personal experiences and information.
